Get To Know Mary Edna
Mary Edna Williams is a native of North Carolina. She moved to Raleigh, NC, to attend North Carolina State University and holds a Bachelor in Social Work. She has been married to Dr .Charles Kenneth Williams since 1978.
After seven years with the Social Security Disability Program she began her real estate career. In 1986, her first year in real estate, she was named Rookie of the Year and has been a top producer since. She has served as Chair and as Director of the Multiple Listing Service for the Triangle and on the Board of Directors. Mary Edna has served as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect, and President of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS.

Currently, she is a Director of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS, and RPAC Trustee for Region 4. Also, she served as a Director on the National Association of REALTORS Board of Directors. She is a founding member and Past Chairman of the Triangle Community Coalition and has served as an officer of the Top Producer Council. Active in politics at a very early age, Mary Edna serves on the legislative committee of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS.
Mary Edna holds CRS, ABR, GRI, CRB and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designations. She attributes her continued success to providing quality service to clients and customers, and treating her peers as she wishes to be treated.
Mary Edna is active in her community and has volunteered her time and money to many causes and charities, including supporting a Salvation Army Tee Ball Team, participating in the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure, Junior League, Visual Arts, MS sponsor, Autism Foundation, and Pet Project.
She also spoke before the Raleigh City Council against regulations that would hurt private property rights. She loves people and life, enjoys dancing, riding on her husband's motorcycle, traveling, and spending time with good friends.
