	Our History Mary Edna Williams founded RE/MAX Capital Realty in March 2001 to meet the needs of a changing industry. A Triangle area real estate veteran since 1986, she opened her first agency as Wilson and Williams in 1995.
		Mary Edna realized that the internet would fundamentally change the business, inviting more customer involvement in the process. She also wanted the company to attract the best agents in the business. Agents who were motivated, productive and success oriented.
